Grand View wrestlers dominate national tournament again

Grand View Wrestling was represented by 12 men at the 60th-annual NAIA National Tournament in Topeka, Kansas on March 3-4. Grand View returned home with five national champs, one runner-up, four third-place finishers and two fifth-place finishers. The team also collected its sixth team title and set a new National scoring record with 234.5 points.
Lawton Benna, So (174) goes 5-0 on the weekend, earning All-American status and becoming a National Champion.
Dylan Blackford, Jr (174) goes 5-2 on the weekend, earning All-American status and placing 5th at the National Tournament.
Dean Broghammer, Jr (285) goes 4-2 on the weekend, earning All-American status and placing 5th at the National Tournament.
Jacob Colon, Sr (133) goes 5-0 on the weekend, earning All-American status and winning his second straight National title.
Johnathen Dennis, Sr (197) goes 6-1 on the weekend, earning All-American status and placing 3rd at the National Champion.
Evan Hansen, Fr (197) goes 4-0 on the weekend, earning All-American status and becoming a National Champion.
Grant Henderson, Jr (165) goes 5-0 on the weekend, earning All-American status and becoming a National Champion.
Jacob Laden, Sr (285) goes 4-1 on the weekend, earning All-American status and placing 3rd at he National Tournament.
Walker Marshall, Sr (149) goes 4-1 on the weekend, earning All-American status and becoming a National Runner Up.
Ryan Niven, Jr (165) goes 6-1 on the weekend, earning All-American status and placing 3rd at the National Tournament.
Michael Pixley, Jr (184) goes 4-1 on the weekend, earning All-American status and placing 3rd at the National Tournament.
Josh Wenger, Fr (141) goes 4-0 on the weekend, earning All-American status and becoming a National Champion.
