Photojournalist Brianna Peterson followed Grand View University cheerleader Sophia Soulis as she manages a knee injury. Despite her recovery, Soulis continues to be an active participant in cheer practice, doing her required stretches from afar before joining her teammates as they practice a variety of moves and stunts. Even with her busy schedule and limitations, Soulis refuses to be held back, supporting her teammates as they strive for the best.
