According to “Des Moines Parent”, a parenting magazine, Riverview Park, located in Des Moines, Iowa, just went through some major changes. The park is connected to a big parking lot by the Kiwanis Nature Island Trail. It is inspired by the Riverview Amusement Park that used to stand in the same space from 1915 to 1978.
There are many different types of games available for all ages: swings, slides of various heights, a ferris wheel, as well as picnic tables, walking and bike trails and public restrooms.
