The brief story of Shelia

Sheila’s story as reported in the Grand View student handbook: On the third of May in 1929, a male student of Grand View University snuck a young woman into his dorm in Old Main (Humphrey). When the building caught on fire, everyone had been accounted for except for Sheila. No body was ever found, and unfortunately, neither was Sheila. Still, from the second floor upward, even through the renovation of Old Main into the Humphrey Center, odd happenings may be observed today.
