Grand View University had recently planned an event on campus where a medium, Robert Baca, would come talk with students, and perhaps, communicate with some of their deceased loved ones. Some students, however, decided to protest the event. They argued that bringing a medium to campus would go against some of Grand View’s christian values. In the end, Grand View chose to cancel the medium event. We went out and talked to students, faculty and staff to get their opinions. We wanted to know whether they believed Grand View made the right decision by canceling the event.
