In early February, Viewfinder visited the Dome After Dark event at the Des Moines Botanical Garden. Dome After Dark takes place every Friday evening in January, February and March from 6-10 p.m.
According to the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden’s website, “Dome After Dark is THE ‘hot’ spot this winter.”
This year, the Botanical Garden featured a collection of glass pieces throughout the venue by Joel Ryser, an artist out of the Quad Cities.
Entry prices are $12 for adults, $11 for seniors and active military, $9 for children (2-12) and free for children one and under. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online or at the door.
